The trust was established on 20 March 1990. Before the date since 1986, it was working in the name Jangid Brahmin Samaj Vikas Samiti. It organised first Samuhik Vivah Sammelan in 1987 by 28 pairs in Sanganer, Jaipur. Later on in year 1990 its name was changed to Sri Vishwakarma Vikas Trust. In year 1993 it got registered from Devsthan Department, Govt. of Raj. Since then the activities of trust are aggressive for the progress of Samaj.

The trust has cooperated in the many formative works like:- Goner, Banskho, Nai Ka Nath,Diggi(Tonk), Bad Ke Balaji(Jaipur),
Bhande Ke Balaji(Jaipur), Khatu Shyam(Sikar), Vishwakarma Ashram(Sawai Madhopur) along with cooperation in following temples: Bhandarej(Dausa), Ghat Vishwakarma Temple(Jaipur), Lalsot(Dausa), Halena(Bharatpur), Vishwakarma Temple Buchawas(Churu), Pawta(Jaipur),Neem Ka Thana(Jaipur), Karmchari Samiti(Jaipur), Bagru Kalan(Jaipur), Gurgaon(Haryana), Samuhik Parichay Sammelan(Jodhpur), Triveni Dham(Shahpura), Pratapgarh(Chittor), Jaipur, Mandakala, Tonk, Dausa, SawaiMadhopur, Bundi whatever they can do.

Scholarship was awarded to students. In Year 1993-94, 10 students
In Year 1994-95, 06 students
In Year 1995-96, 10 students
In Year 1996-97, 15 students
In Year 1997-98, 07 students
In Year 1999-2000, 02 students
In Year 1998-99, Topper students were awarded.
Also two widows were given financial help of Rs.1500 each in year 1997 & 1998. In year
2005, a sum of Rs.2000 financial help was accepted for a blind person.

The trust has acted an important role by arranging Samuhik Vivah, and Honouring the Industrialists, Top class Craftsman, Doctors, Social Workers and General Voluntary Working persons in Functions. Thus Trust is progressive in the Social activities for primilary works in the direction to raise the status. The trust is really involved in social welfare. The main aim of trust is to make our samaj happy and progressive in all fields and to get rid of social evils blind faith, Dowry etc. So that our samaj could get relief from the Social, Political, Mental, Educational and Employment Problems.
The prices are growing higher and higher, General income public is going to entrap in the dowry cases due to their fashionable and competative minds. To solve these problems the trust is encouraging for the Samuhik Vivah. The trust has arranged for marriage of 66 Pairs (in 1995), 49 Pairs (in 1996), 71 Pairs(in 1998) in Samuhik Vivah Sammelan on the eve of Vishwakarma Jayanti in Sri Ji Bainada.
The programmes of Samuhik Vivah Sammelan was appreciated by gathering presented at the location which came from outside the Rajastha also.
